La Grignote - Pizzeria Boucherie Charcuterie Traiteur Snack Crêpes

Service a bit overwhelmed, holiday crowds*. But very good waffles, crepes, good exposure at the end of the day.

An original concept at La Grignote: order a half-pint and receive an abstract work of art made of foam. Honestly, if I wanted that much air, I would have ordered a cappuccino. 🍺☁️ The server must have confused "draft" with "immersive cloud experience." Well, the beer underneath was pretty good! Too bad it was hidden under 4 cm of hoppy whipped cream. Try it if you like surprises… or if you're sponsored by the foam.

They're really not messing around, it's very generous and good for a very reasonable price!

Homemade food, quality products and really very kind people.

We ate there with my friends during a ski day and I recommend it! The staff are very friendly and the pizzas are good (however, only order the XXL if you are very, very hungry because it is the size of a platter aha) and what's more, the prices are really affordable for a business in a ski resort.

I received a very warm welcome, the staff are absolutely lovely, especially the owner. He makes excellent pizzas, and I highly recommend this establishment.

Not very friendly

We stumbled upon this terrace and found ourselves in a wonderfully welcoming place. We didn't feel like tourists at all, which we were. The pizzas were amazing. I highly recommend it.

I ordered a Reine pizza while pregnant, and I asked when I placed my order if the cheese was pasteurized. The manager told me yes, that there was no risk. After eating a slice, I asked again and insisted, and after checking, I discovered the cheese was made with raw milk, which is strongly discouraged during pregnancy. I understood that the manager was annoyed by my insistence and kept repeating that there was no risk. But I believe there's a difference between being a doctor and running a restaurant.

The pizzas were good. The lasagna was very mediocre! Ground meat and lasagna noodles, nothing more: no cheese, no Bolognese sauce, the dish was very dry (the meat itself was good). The presentation needs improvement. As for the service at the counter, it was very average. No smiles, not very pleasant (and it wasn't because it was busy, it was quite quiet). Fortunately, the two young waitresses managed to make our visit to the snack bar a pleasant end to our meal; they were very friendly and helpful. The sunny terrace was very pleasant after skiing!
