La Tavola Calda - Restaurant Pizzeria

Favourite Italian restaurant of ours in Grenoble for 20+ years. Food is great: best octopus salad in Grenoble, wood-fired pizzas are always a winner, and the daily lunch specials are always copious and tasty. And the tiramisu... never fails. Staff are always friendly in a family-restaurant fashion, Roseanne never fails to remember us, even when making a phone booking (ok, my accent isn't perfect!!!). In short, never fails us. Thoroughly recommended.

Homemade food prepared with fresh ingredients. The wine is delicious and the tiramisu is a must-try. I find the pizzas a bit too small, especially for the price (around €15 per pizza). The service is excellent and the atmosphere is very welcoming.

What a wonderful discovery this place is! A warm and friendly welcome, and the owner even makes the pasta right there! A simple, cozy, and unpretentious setting, but above all, delicious food. Homemade with love and good ingredients makes all the difference. Thank you for a very pleasant evening.

The dishes are all incredible: the pizza dough is just perfect, and the tagliatelle with white truffle was excellent; the same goes for the desserts! I highly recommend it.

I discovered this great restaurant in the city center today. I came for lunch with my family; we came here because the older members of the family had already been about ten years ago. I wasn't disappointed. The servers were very friendly, the service was quick, and the food was delicious! Everything seemed homemade, and the desserts were also very good! The only slight drawback was perhaps a lack of effort on the presentation. It's a shame, because all the dishes were so good. A little redesign of the presentation could really make this place even more attractive and unique. I'll be back to try the pizzas, as I only tried the pasta. Sincerely.

After a 45-minute wait, we decided to leave. Not a single staff member came to offer us anything; everyone was overwhelmed. It's all well and good to expand, but you need to put in the work...
