Ristorante Pizzeria des Halles

It's a joke: high prices, a pizza as flat as a pancake, tasteless. Very poor quality ingredients (prosciutto), no flavor whatsoever. They need to go to Italy for some training; white-based pizzas made with "cream" don't exist in Italy. Pizza bianca is made with mozzarella or provola. In short, keep walking...

The best Italian restaurant in the city center. I'm a regular and the service is always so warm. I'm quite shocked to see some 1-star reviews, especially those based on revenge, because the people who leave these kinds of comments are individuals with behavioral and psychiatric disorders. I once witnessed a group of two insolent men in their sixties who insulted the young waiter and provoked him. The waiters remained dignified and calm, so when I read the horrible things some people dare to write, I can't believe it for a second. I eat at the Pizzeria des Halles four times a week, and the waiters are lovely. I wanted to say that. So, to those with hateful comments, rest assured that your slander will not go unpunished, because karma will catch up with you. The food is excellent.

Good evening, we waited an hour to place our order with the waiter. There were two of us outside. The waiter told us, "I'll be right back, no problem." We had been patient, but I had to go and ask him that we had been waiting for a while. It's really excessive. After my dissatisfaction, the waiter came to take our order. The service is very slow. I had to forgo dessert, which is a shame. We came last night, but the food is good despite that.

New service is terrible and bad

I came alone for a pizza after a trail run. I loved my experience. And when that's the case, I leave a review! :) The service was incredibly friendly and welcoming!! The pizza was excellent! I ate on the terrace facing the market. There was a great atmosphere on the street! And I ate next to a very friendly lady who was a regular! We had a lovely chat! In short, fantastic!! I highly recommend it!!

Probably the best pizzeria in Grenoble! 🍕 It has everything: a warm welcome, fast and incredibly attentive service, and an authentic and friendly atmosphere. It's a true family restaurant run by passionate Italians—and you can feel it in every detail. The dishes are generous, flavorful, and prepared with love. A must-try that I highly recommend! 🇮🇹❤️

I recommend booking a table, especially if there are more than two of you, as it's very popular, the place is small, and it fills up quickly. We arrived very early without a reservation, but luckily there was a table available, so we were able to eat. The food was 10/10. We each ordered one dish and one to share among five. The portions were very generous. The children's menu is highly recommended. Both desserts were excellent. The service was very good and generally quite fast (the busier the restaurant, the slower it was, but that's understandable). The quality was wonderful; we will definitely be back.
